The Band performed a successful concert to raise money for the Solihull branch of the MS Society in November 2009. The concert, "Reflections" featured a selection of music from around the British Isles and was attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Solihull.
Another concert in aid of this charity will take place on Saturday 30th October 2010. Please watch our website for further details of this event.
The AD Concert band is a Community Wind Band with over sixty members, from teenagers to octogenarians, who range from enthusiastic amateurs to graduate standard players. Our aim is to provide an opportunity for musicians for all ages and abilities to make music together and to bring the enjoyment of wind band music to a wide range of audiences.
The Band is based in Solihull, West Midlands, where it rehearses once a week. We perform a wide variety of concerts throughout the year, including formal evening concerts, village fetes and park bandstands, as well as joining forces with other bands and choirs for specific events.
We now have a webshop to allow you to place orders for our CD. You can place an order and pay by cheque where we will sent it to you by post, or you can pay by cash and collect at one of our concerts or from a rehearsal. At the moment we do not take online payments, but we hope to be able to offer further payment methods in future.
