The summer season is now coming to an end. We hope you have enjoyed all our concerts in the parks over the summer, although the weather has been mixed. Our concert in St James Park was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all the Band and a very large audience. Our final concert for the summer season is on Bank Holiday Monday, 31st August 2009, at the Ilmington Fete, where we will be playing from 1:00pm. Our Autumn Concerts start on Saturday 12th September 2009, 7:30pm, at Marston Green Village Hall, where we will be performing an evening of "Songs from the Shows". Tickets, priced £7.00 each, can be obtained from 0121 684 3744. Following on from that we will be performing at Nether Whitacre Village Hall on Satuday 10th October 2009. We are delighted that the Band of The Parachute Regiment will be joining us for another joint concert on Saturday 17th October 2009, 7:30pm, at the Bushell Hall, Solihull School. Those of you who came to our first joint concert last year will know what a great evening it was, and those of you who didn't missed a real treat! The concert this year is entitled "In Tandem" and tickets are now available, priced £8.00 each, from Solihull Arts Complex (0121 704 6962) or members of the Band. We look forward to seeing you at the above events and don't forget we still have CDs available from our website shop, so you can listen to our music in the confort of your own home. |
